Preparing a bootable RHEL6 Bootable Pen drive

  1. Go to images sub directory of RHEL DVD
  2. If the location of the pen drive is /dev/sdd, write the image to pen drive using the following command:

#dd if=efidisk.img of=/dev/sdd

Note: This command will overwrite all existing data on the drive
